They start out with no knowledge of how to walk and end up as adults with a personality.
Two curricula that will give you twice as many opportunities. It will be like studying in the UK and Spain simultaneously.
A school life full of unforgettable experiences.
Learning by doing, learning by caring
Nature and animals play a fundamental role in our school. From the first year onwards, the school will grow all the food necessary to feed the rabbits that live with them in the school garden.
Speakers’ Corner
From the early stages, the school’s methodology gives great prominence to the word in its oral form. Our youngest children begin by speaking in public to their classmates, telling their favourite story or describing their favourite pet.
Events and performances
Public speaking is learned by going on stage. That is why from the age of 4 all students go on stage at the Alfredo kraus, speaking 4 languages. A skill that will make them almost professionals in the performing arts at the age of 11.
International debate
Secondary school and high school students close the public speaking project with their participation in national debate leagues and tournaments. They also participate in various MUNs, Models of United Nations, due to their command of several languages.
A journey where you will discover your passions and skills.
Healthy habits
Aitor Sánchez is a renowned Dietitian-Nutritionist and the head of our Nutrition Department. He frequently visits our classrooms to hold nutrition workshops and through the Aleris Centre, he designs the school menu. All with the purpose of achieving healthy habits that guarantee growth in all aspects of the students’ lives.
Programming languages
Python is one of the most promising programming languages and is the one that all our students learn. With more than 200 iMacs and the help of computer engineers and developers, we are the first school to prepare its students for a world dominated by artificial intelligence.
Philharmonic Society
As a result of the agreement that the school has maintained for more than 10 years with the Philharmonic Society of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the CHI families have the opportunity to attend the concerts that are programmed every year in the Pérez Galdós Theatre with their children.
Sports
Did you know that we have a pet? His name is Tiger and our basketball club is named after him.
Basketball, football, volleyball, as well as all the other sports we practise, enhance the value of effort, communication and teamwork.
An adventure that will develop your potential.
International travel
During your CHI adventure, you will travel to the UK, Germany, and China.
You will put into practice what you have learned: your fluency in the languages, the culture, and your knowledge, but above all, it will be an unforgettable experience.
Internship in the UK
The best way to discover your passions is to try different experiences. During your stay in the UK you will live with English families and work in different sectors to help you gain independence, confidence and self-assurance.
Social Responsibility
Within the project of social responsibility, the students improve their personal development through the CHI Clubs’ different annual actions. They work on integration with Down’s syndrome groups, solidarity through food collections, accompanying old people at the Tafira Home for the Elderly, and sustainability through reforestation activities, beach cleaning, and school gardens.
Graduation
After graduating from CHI our students head for the best universities. Whether within Spain or abroad they will always remain united thanks to the Alumni Association promoted by the school.
Former students forever.
CHI alumni is our alumni association, a platform that organizes activities every year in different countries of the European Union, and which aims at the exchange of contact details and professions between all generations that have left the school.
